Waiting horses

Mountaintour Stabburet

An extended daytour with lodging in cot an with food of local raw materials. Possibility of fishingchar and salmon trout.

Departures 2008: Mountaintour Stabburet leaves after agreement during period 6/6-19/10.


Programme

Arrival in Ammarnäs for common lunch. After lunch we go through outfit and way and pack the personal outfit into pack-rolls (which you will borrow from Fjällhästen). Then we pick out horses and make ready for leave towards Fjällhästen´s yard in Tjaskal, an 8 km ride. Dinner and lodging.
After breakfast next day we ride up on the long mountain Stoure Jåppe to try "tölt" the fourth pace of the Icelandic horse. A break at the farm Stabburet. We'll be back in Ammarnäs at 4 p.m. The stage today is approximately 20 km.

For anyone who wishes we can book sauna, dinner and lodging in Ammarnäs.

Price: 1950 SEK/person

Horse, guide, food and lodging are included in the price. Tabledrink is part of the food. Other drinks and snacks may be taken with as required.
