Mountaintour Skeble

Three days in the mountains on horseback! Lodging in cots with open fire. The food will be prepared of raw materials which the settled country produces. You will have possibility of fishing char and salmon trout. Mountaintour Skeble leaves odd weeks Monday or Thursday with start week 27 to week 35.

Programme

Monday/Thursday: Arrival in Ammarnäs for common lunch. After lunch we go through outfit and way and pack the personal outfit into "pack-rolls" (which you will borrow from Fjällhästen). Then we pick out horses and make ready for start towards the destination of the first stage, Fjällhästens's yard in Tjaskal, an 8 km ride.

Tuesday/Friday: From Tjaskal up on the bare mountain. We ride northwest along Stuore Jåppe. Below is the protective area of birds, Marsivagge.There there is a lot of arctic birds and sometimes the golden eagle appears. If the weather is fine, we'll climb the highest plateaus of the mountainpeak Urtstjåkke. After about 20 km we reach Lule Skeblejaure and Fjällhästen’s cot.

Wednesday/Saturday: Today we ride trough Skebleskalet's valley up on the long mountain Jåppen/Gieråive. After 30 km we are back in Ammarnäs. Lodging in Ammarnäs.

Thursday/Sunday: Breakfast and home journey.

Price: 3950 SEK/person

Horse, guide, food and lodging are included in the price. Tabledrink is part of the food. Other drinks and snacks may be taken with as required.
