Meet the autumn mountains with its magnificent color and snow-capped peaks of the Icelandic horse's back.

During the month of October we ride day trips around the Ammarnäs mountains. Spice up riding with a sauna and a wood-fired tunnbad. Top with a two-course dinner based on local ingredients!

Riding suit both experienced by novice riders. Day trips range from 15 - 20 km. Ridtempot adjusted basis. We try to Icelandic horses signum; gait tölt and take a gallop occasionally!

You stay and eat breakfast at Fjällhästens Hiking Lodging located in Ammarnäs village. In vandrarlogit is a large wood-fired sauna and hot tub are just outside the door. Dinners taken on Ammarnäs Wärdshus.

You can choose from two different frequencies, Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Sunday. We welcome groups of up to 15 people.

Programs

Thursday: Arrival and check-in Fjällhästens Hiking Lodging at. 17.00. Presentation of the guide and software. Dinner is at. 19:00 on Ammarnäs Wärdshus.

Friday: Breakfast (self service) on vandrarlogit. Cl. 9:00 we meet our Icelandic horses for the first ride. Today's goal is Fjällhästens long hut in Tjaskal. This is a beautiful utsiktstur where we ride north from Ammarnäs. We follow up to Näsberget Småfjällen and Mittiberget where we have a magnificent view into Skebleskalet. We take a break in the long hut and take our coffee packages. At 16 o'clock we are back in Ammarnäs. Shower and sauna at vandrarlogit. Cl. 19.00 Dinner at the Inn.

For guests arriving on Friday
You check in at Fjällhästens Hiking Lodging at. 17.00. Presentation of the guide and software. Cl. 19:00, it is dinner at Ammarnäs Wärdshus.

Saturday: Breakfast at vandrarlogit. After breakfast it's time to leave the mountains. Our horses will take us today to Kungsleden, which brings us to the south at the mountain Äivisåvie further toward Aigertstugan. We saddle the horses and eat our lunch, joining package. During the day we are hearing the Icelandic horse hallmark of gait tölt. After that date, it feels great to creep down into the wood-fired hot tub and then enjoy dinner at the Inn.

Sunday: Breakfast at vandrarlogit. Our last ride goes to the old fjällägenheten Örnbo. We ride through northern Ammarnäs and follows the lake Gautsträsk. At Bissanbäcken and nyuppbyggda mill, we take a Leg, and then continue up through the woods to Örnbo. This is an old settlement / fjällägenhet from 1860. Places located in the steep slope above the Gautsträsk with a broad view of the landscape. In today's riding, we try to tölt and maybe a gallop. After riding check you out from vandrarlogit.

(The price includes horse, guide, food and accommodation incl. bedlinen. Måltid beverage is included in the Inn dining another drink during the meals are borne by the participants themselves).
