Winter tours in and around Ammarnäs mountains

In winter, when snow is deep and the ice is thick, we ride at the trails and lead in Ammarnäs area. A wonderful winter experience where Fjällhästen offers several different tours. Riding suit both experienced by novice riders.

Mountain Winter Days in Ammarnäs - full day or half day activities activities
Imagine, one day knarret the horses' hoofs and the smoke from their nostrils as we ride across the frozen rivers. The second day the joy of the newly drawn char by jigging hole in the ice. These feelings can be experienced in real life here with us in Ammarnäs-Lapland.
Ski & Weather in Ammarnäs Mountain World
Iceland Horse Riding, downhill skiing, accommodation with breakfast and lunch, all mixed into a lovely winter compote!
Day Trips
2009/2010: All short vinterridturer resigns after agreement 28/12-25/4.
Full day Örnbo: We follow through Tjulån Ammarnäs and further out over the lake Gautsträsk to nyuppbyggda mill at Bissanbäcken. Then we ride up through the woods to fjällägenheten Örnbo, lying on a ledge on the slopes above the Gautsträsk. With a broad view of the landscape we occupy a sandwich lunch. When we left Örnbo we follow the lake to the North Ammarnäs and ride out the Vindel River. We try to tölt and perhaps a canter for those who want!
Price: 750 SEK per person (refreshments included packages).
Tretimmarstur Älvritt: We ride at Tjulån by Ammarnäs further out over the lake Gautsträsk to our resting place at Bissanbäcken. From there we follow the shores of the lake to the north Ammarnäs where we ride on the river,. We try to tölt and canter for those who wish.
Price 400 SEK per person
Tvåtimmarstur Tjulån: Follow Fjällhästen on a tour at Tjulån and trails around Ammarnäs. We test the Icelandic horse different paces during the ride again.
Price 300 sek / person (the Icelandic horse and guide included)
